Last night's late night baking was assembled into a very cool box of goodness this morning. My co-worker, Carolyn wanted to thank a vendor for a job well done on a recent box project. She asked me to bake cookies to package into the box sample the vendor made for her and I happily obliged. I tucked two cookies in each treat bag and tied ribbon to coordinate with colors on the box. The box insert was topped with natural kraft shreds and the cookies were placed on top. The whole box was tied with ribbon. Everything worked well together and I was very proud of the result. Carolyn called after the box was delivered to say the vendor was extremely pleased. They said it is rare that someone actually takes the time to do anything to say thank you. Isn't that a shame? With very little effort, you can make many people happy. I am sure next time Carolyn needs help with a project, this vendor will do whatever possible to make it happen. It truly is all about the little things...or in this case, a big box of goodness.
Many hugs,
Kathy
