Ditto - Day 218

Today...ditto from yesterday, except for the baking part. I took the night off. So thank goodness, no cookie talk. The rain, traffic and stress were exactly the same as the day before. Uug!

Mike was off today and had the opportunity to watch some NCAA College Basketball games. Evidently Red Lobster was a major sponsor because Mike had Lobsterfest on his mind. So when I arrived back in Orlando from my Tampa adventure, we met at Red Lobster for dinner...along with the rest of Altamonte Springs. The waiting list was long and I am not a patient person, especially when I am hungry. I positioned myself near the bar to swoop in the moment someone left. To my delight after only about 5 minutes, a couple of bar stools opened up. Mike and I took our seats in the bar for an enjoyable dinner of grilled lobster and shrimp, langostino topped tillapia, wine, beer and great sport and political conversation.

This weekend I vow to actually cook a meal in my own kitchen. I actually miss it. The only action my kitchen has seen is the cookie baking kind.

Yesterday I heard a radio spot for Pepsi promoting a program called Pepsi Idea...or the Pepsi Refresh Project. It is a program to foster ideas to advance social good. Over 20 million dollars will be awarded in grants to fund programs by individuals and organizations who submit proposals to this program. The site for the Pepsi Refresh Project is www.refresheverything.com. I plan to do more research. Somehow I know I have an idea for the betterment of this world in this always dreaming Pollyanna brain of mine. Mike will not be happy with me promoting something about Pepsi. He is a Diet Coke addict. I hope he will forgive me for the greater good.

Many hugs,

Kathy
