Tonight I met friends at TGIFriday's to say goodbye to Jen. She and her husband are off to Atlanta to begin a new life adventure. Jen is one of those people that is a joy to be around. Her passion for art, music, animals and friends makes her my kind of person. I will miss her terribly, but made plans to kidnap her to pick apples in the Fall.
After the party I noticed a missed call from my son Ryan. I figured he was calling to harass me about my pathetic NCAA bracket showing. Instead I was treated to the much anticipated news that he got the internship with the Jacksonville Jaguars. I was elated! That means he will be relocating to Jacksonville at the end of April. I will actually be able to see him more than every 3-4 months. In case I didn't mention it before...I am sooooooooooo proud of him.
