On the road again...my life's theme song. On my first day of vacation, what do I do? You've got it...I head to work to pick up a client's job and hit the road again. Luck was on my side because I finished the trip just in time to pick up Susan for the real start of my vacation. Susan and I were off to visit my son Ryan in Raleigh for a few days of good eats, good wine, an inside look at NC State athletics and a heavy dose of Ryan. The 9 1/2 hour drive flew by thanks to great conversation with Susan and her collection of CDs. Panda Express was our dinner choice enjoyed as we continued on our journey. Hopefully my knee driving didn't freak out Susan too much as ate. Along the way we drank coffee, snacked on dried fruit, celebrated arrival at South of the Border with roasted nuts and shared a box of animal crackers for that extra energy boost to make it to our destination...Ryan. What a welcome site he was when we finally arrived at about 12:30 a.m.
